Fisherground Campsite Description:

Fisherground Campsite is set right in the heart of Eskdale, one of Cumbria's loveliest valleys. Here on the West side of the Lake District we get less rain and more sun than our famous cousins the other side of Scafell. In this quiet valley there is still the Peace and Tranquility that should be Lakeland - but rarely is in the bustling centres. Here there are still more sheep than people.

Peace is the watchword on the Campsite too. We are a quiet family site and every effort is made to ensure silence after 10.30pm. As we don't take bookings, except for the electric hook ups, we look forward to welcoming you when you arrive.

Because we are a camping site we can only accept tents, trailer tents, campervans and motorhomes (unfortunately not touring caravans).

We do take bookings for 5 nights or more, except over Bank Holidays.

Electric Hook ups need to be booked all season.  Electric hook up bookings can arrive anytime after 11am.  Deposits are non-refundable. Our electric hook ups are 6amp.

We have a minimum of two nights stay for weekends during all school holidays and three nights on a Bank Holiday.

You are more than welcome to stay as long as you would like, but for those staying more than 7 nights we ask that you rotate your tent to preserve the grass (we are happy to help).

As we choose to support our Village Shop, we have no convenience store on-site.

The only phone reception you can get on the campsite is Orange.
